According to Gilliam (2003) ongoing, job-embedded professional development is essential in guiding early childhood educators in understanding and adapting the curriculum to meet the learning needs of culturally and linguistically diverse children and children with disabilities, and design more effective approaches to working with all children. I intend to utilize the information I learn in this course to plan and implement best practices to produce positive outcomes for children. Choosing the Proper Assessment

Scenario one describes the disruptive classroom behavior of a three-year-old male and the teacher's efforts to address the problem and find a solution.   Texas Early Learning Guidelines The goal of The Texas Education Agency is for all Texas children to enter school with the foundational knowledge and skills to be curious, confident and successful learners. The Texas Pre-Kindergarten Early Learning Guidelines are comprehensive and aligned with the K-3 standards (Texas prekindergarten guidelines, 2007-2019).
