Scholar Practioiners as Program Evaluators



According to Gilliam (2003) ongoing, job-embedded professional development is essential in guiding early childhood educators in understanding and adapting the curriculum to meet the learning needs of culturally and linguistically diverse children and children with disabilities, and design more effective approaches to working with all children. I intend to utilize the information I learn in this course to plan and implement best practices to produce positive outcomes for children.
Research from the shows that supportive relationships combined with stimulating environments are essential in infant and toddler brain architecture (National Symposium on Early Childhood Science and Policy, n.d.). Stable relationships with responsive adults provide protection from adverse stress.
