Scholar Practioiners as Program Evaluators
According
to Gilliam (2003) ongoing, job-embedded professional
development is essential in guiding early childhood educators in understanding and
adapting the curriculum to meet the learning needs of culturally and
linguistically diverse children and children with disabilities, and design more
effective approaches to working with all children. I intend to utilize the
information I learn in this course to plan and implement best practices to
produce positive outcomes for children.
Research
from the shows that supportive relationships combined with stimulating
environments are essential in infant and toddler brain architecture (National
Symposium on Early Childhood Science and Policy, n.d.) . Stable
relationships with responsive adults provide protection from adverse stress.
