 NAEYC Code of Ethical Ideals NAEYC Ethical Responsibilities to Children  I-1.2- To base program practices upon current knowledge and research in the field of early childhood education, child development, and related disciplines, as well as on particular knowledge of each child. Improving the lives of children is my primary goal as an early childhood educator. Ensuring the child’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development in an environment that reflects the child’s culture and language require the program to base curriculum on the use of best practices.
